About
Wildlife India — Grand Tour is a one-photographer studio that designs slow, photographer-first journeys across India's national parks, sanctuaries, and forgotten little wetlands.
The photographer
I'm a wildlife photographer based in India. I've spent the last several years working the country's parks and birding circuits — from the Himalayan foothills above Sattal to the floodplains of Kaziranga, the dry deciduous of Ranthambore, and the small forgotten wetlands within an hour of Delhi.
Wildlife India — Grand Tour grew out of friends asking, year after year, "Where would you take us if you were planning the trip?" These tours are exactly that: the trips I'd plan for myself, opened up to a small group of travellers who care more about light and patience than ticking a list.
Every itinerary is custom. I work with a network of trusted naturalist-guides, drivers, and lodges I've personally tested. On most trips I'll be the photographer-in-residence — happy to help with composition, settings, or just keeping you out of trouble in the heat.
How to reach me
A frosted morning in the Kumaon foothills — the kind of light that keeps me coming back.
The Studio's Philosophy
The best wildlife photographs are made by people who've decided to wait an extra forty minutes.
We'd rather come home with five photographs we love than fifty species we ticked.
We hire local naturalists, eat at local kitchens, and stay at small camps run by people who live with the forest.
No baiting. No off-road chases. No flash on owls. The wild is borrowed, not used.
Most tours are 2–4 photographers — small enough for one vehicle, one driver, one shared morning.
Tell me where you'd like to go, when, and what you most want to photograph. I'll come back with an itinerary and a quote within 48 hours.
